The CZ BREN 2 weapon system is one of the most advanced on the world market. Its advantages include simple construction, extreme reliability, high accuracy, low weight, excellent ergonomics and ambidextrous or easily adjustable controls. These features are fully retained in the self-loading version in the popular .223 Rem and 7.62×39 calibers.
Besides the impossibility of firing bursts, the biggest difference from the automatic version is the separate forend and the absence of mounting rails on the sides and bottom, which opens up rich possibilities for individual adjustments and tuning to the user.
